Palo Santo is a tree and the wood is considered sacred, and its Spanish meaning is "holy wood" and grows in select parts of South America. Palo Santo wood has been used for thousands of years by shamans, saints, and spiritual practitioners for spiritual purification and energy cleansing. It is one of the most fragrant woods with notes of pine, lemon, and mint. Some consider the smell to resemble baked apples or burnt sugar. When the wood is burned it is believed to clear negative energy, restore tranquility, enhance creativity and clarity, and promote feelings of positivity and joy.

How to use
Set an intention about what you want to clear out of your space. Hold at a 45-degree angle and light one end of the stick with matches, lighter, or candle, and allow to burn for 30 seconds to a minute then carefully blow out. Move from corner to corner of your space, you can even use it to cleanse yourself, alter, spiritual tools, and crystals, remove negative energy, and fill your home with the unique clarifying uplifting sent.
